  • Feature in April 2016 issue of "BRAIN"

"Book Jacket: Senses" is a bi-monthly series made possible
through collaborations with creators using fine paper.
Each issue in this popular project includes a book jacket/cover
made with a different type of fine paper.

Hidenori Yoshioka (September Cowboy) has been chosen for the April 2016 issue.

The paper used is ST COVER, designed with a laid paper pattern evoking British charcoal paper.
Red and silver gray were selected from the line-up of 32 rich, appealing colors.

The title of the work is "'September Books' Second-hand Bookstore."
It is designed as a book cover for wrapping books purchased
at the imaginary second-hand bookstore "September Books."
It has a three-dimensional surface created through sculptured embossing,
in which multiple layers of depth make the image stand out.
This book cover will gain a charm of its own with the scratches
and marking it acquires as you slide books in and out of your bag.
