  • Feature in January 2020 issue of "BRAIN"

"Book Jacket: Senses" is a series made possible
through collaborations with creators using fine paper.
Each issue in this popular project includes a book jacket/cover
made with a different type of fine paper.

Yajima Daisuke appears in the January 2020 issue.
The paper he uses is TANT, a popular series updated in autumn 2019 with 50 new colors.

The title of the work is “KAZAHANA”.
The updated TANT series now has 200 colors, producing a colorful lineup that resembles the spectrum of light. From that series are selected colors that give the book jackets an image of the constantly-changing colors of the clear blue skies of winter.
The title “KAZAHANA” expresses the dance of snowflakes carried by the wind under a clear sky. Paper in the colors of the sky provides the background for delicate snowflakes printed with a double bump of white and stamped with silver foil.

The January issue of Brain is now available at bookstores nationwide.
