in collaboration with stationery specialist, ITO-YA Ltd.
Alongside TAKEO MIHONCHO Ginza on the 7th floor of Ginza Itoya is
an event space for exhibitions about paper.
Please visit the event space to learn more and share in our fascination with paper.

The popular FINE PAPER MARKET returns for its third year.
 
This year’s event brings together a wide selection of paper items using TAKEO fine paper,
from stationery to interior items. TAKEO’s original stationery brand Dressco has launched
an ONIONSKIN NOTEBOOK, which has pages of a diaphanous paper with a distinctive feel
resembling the thin skin of an onion, and provides a choice of three types of fine paper for the cover.
Also available are items that add a designer’s touch to home or workplace décor, including The Geometrist,
which is a kit for making paper models of polyhedra. and TWO TRAY,
trays in beautiful combinations of paper colors that provide a sense of depth.
 
The Event Table on the TAKEO MIHONCHO Ginza at Itoya floor features a series of projects for enjoying paper.
FINE PAPER MARKET provides a wonderful opportunity to find paper items that strike the fancy.

Buyers can select their favorite items for 350 yen per 50 g.

Exploring the potential of paper by combining factory manufacturing technology and innovative ideas by designers,
KAMI NO KOUSAKUJO has assembled a range of paper games.

 
- Fujiwara Yayoi: 7 days cards
 
Fujiwara Yayoi created her “7 days cards” postcards so that people could write to
whoever they want at any time during the week.
This event also features a range of individual PAPER PALETTE envelopes,
enabling cards and envelopes to be selected and combined as desired.

- TRIAD: OMOSHIROI BLOCK
 
OMOSHIROI BLOCK is a memo pad that gradually reveals a sculpture-like artwork as you use it.
Each block is a stack of high-quality paper, with each sheet cleverly crafted.

 
- PCM TAKEO: Ornamental katazome folding fans
 
Katazome (stencil dyeing) is a technique for dyeing paper that Serizawa Keisuke proposed
at the height of the mingei (folk craft) movement, based on traditional Japanese dyeing techniques.
Prepare for New Year’s by decorating with folding fans.
An opening fan is seen as an auspicious expression of growing prosperity.
