In addition to fine papers, TAKEO handles special functional papers—papers given special functions or characteristics.
One of those papers, ZEO MIRAI, is exhibited in the showcase at Aoyama MIHONCHO.
ZEO MIRAI is a functional sheet with the texture of washi paper, created in Mino,
a traditional center for Japanese washi paper production.

ZEO MIRAI sheets are based on machine-made washi paper,
and are treated with zeolite containing copper ions to provide antibacterial, antiviral, and deodorizing properties.
They successfully combine the specific needs of contemporary lifestyles with the traditional texture of washi paper
originating in Mino that has been passed down over the centuries.
The showcase exhibit includes photographs from Mino City, Gifu Prefecture, where the paper is produced.

Cooperation: Marujyu Paper Company
Details of effectiveness and compliance with standards are given in a separate PDF.
