“DESIGNER × PROJECT” features designers working on serial projects.
The third DESIGNER × PROJECT exhibition centers around designing books
with painter and book designer Tamon Yahagi.

Yahagi taught himself design while traveling between Japan and India starting in his teens,
and has been designing books for about two decades. For this show, he has selected about fifty
books from the over 600 books that he has designed. This exhibition presents the hidden side
to how he engages in his distinctive book designs, together with rough drafts, color proofing,
and stories about how he has gone about choosing paper.
