Isao Mitobe and Naoko Nakui each began their singular focus on book design at about the same time. This exhibition reveals details about the materials, bookmaking, and design involved in thirty books by Mitobe and thirty by Nakui from the repertoires of projects they have worked on over the years. Enjoy the latest on book design from these two creators who take contrasting approaches to their work, with Mitobe pursuing simplified, streamlined design and Nakui making full use of materials and processes.
