HAKUMORI-FS black fine paper developed for foil stamping. Having found the mechanisms that cause
foil corrosion, we produced a way to control corrosion due to the paper. Its deep black color with a tinge of red
and smooth surface texture designed so as to not affect the smoothness of foil stamping heightens the beauty of foil.

* About foil corrosion

 

Three environmental factors cause foil corrosion—temperature, humidity, and oxygen. Multiple factors stemming from the paper, including carbon black, fixing agents, and other chemicals in the paper, also play a role in corrosion. Having found the mechanisms that cause foil corrosion, with HAKUMORI-FS we succeeded in producing a deep black color using carbon black in conjunction with mechanisms to control corrosion due to the paper.
