[Additional Venue: Kanazawa] Touring exhibition “Paper and life a decade from now”
We will be presenting the following exhibit at the 50th NAKASHIMA PAPER SHOW,
a paper event being organized by Kanazawa-based Hokuriku region paper wholesaler Nakashima Shoten.
- TAKEO PACKAGE EXHIBITION "Paper and life a decade from now"
For this show, in-house designers at Kao, Shiseido, Sony, Beams, and Meiji have examined
what the relationship between people and paper will be in the near future, a decade from now,
from a variety of difference perspectives—areas like articles of daily use, cosmetics, technology, clothing, and food.
They make specific proposals about our lives in the near future and the various ‘packages’ we will
likely be utilizing then, using as examples particular situations in daily life.

- “Pakection! Moyai-na Katachi” exhibition
This is a special exhibition by pakection!, a group of package designers in the Kansai region of Japan. The show presents a variety of package designs made using fine paper, particularly MERMAID, based on the theme of “moyai,” a Japanese word that can refer to mooring boats together with rope or sharing work with others.
In addition to the above exhibit, the show includes a corner introducing our fine papers.
