GA (Green Aid) products refers to Takeo products manufactured from non-wood materials, recycled paper, chlorine-free bleached pulp paper and other methods that serve to preserve our natural environment.
Environmental products with Forestry certifications
Forestry certifications are given to paper produced by manufacturers and plants that source their paper from officially managed forests and process, distribute, and sell their product in line with the official requirements of the FSC.
Through our acquisition of both FSC certification and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) certification, Takeo is committed to creating a new dimension to the concept of environmentally friendly paper manufacturing and product development based on the point of view of afforestation efforts and utilization of certified forests.

FSC(Forest Stewardship Council)
The Forest Stewardship Council in an international non-profit organization established in 1993 composed of a council of members from environmental NGOs and indigenous peoples’ groups, members of the forestry industry, and retailers.
Takeo Co., Ltd. was the first paper company in Japan to obtain FSC certification in the wholesale paper distribution industry in December 2002.

PEFC(Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes)
This program was established in 1999 with the aim of mutual recognition of each participating country’s forestry certification system. With the participation of each country’s government, the intergovernmental process provides shared global standards for establishing sustainable forest management.
Takeo Co., Ltd. obtained PEFC certification in July 2008.
