The image of “gubiki,” is reproduced, using the technique for dyed paper produced since ancient times by dissolving “gofun,” oyster-shell pigment, with a thin solution of “nikawa,” animal glue, with colors added and applied to the paper’s surface.|

|Speckled with rayon threads, this is a reversible type formal paper with a Japanese washi paper feel.
This paper comes in double-sided white or single-sided pastel coloring with white on the reverse.
Similar to SHIN-TAIREISHI paper, it is suitable for multicolored printing, but since it is essentially Japanese washi paper, should not be used for printing in place of high-grade Western type paper.
